Molding Paints?

Post by Kristal on Sun Oct 09, 2011 3:48 am

Going through some paints today, making new splits. As I'm putting things away I pull out my yellow DFX, wanting to top up my palette - and do a double take. There's a fine white fuzz over half of what's left (about a quarter of a 45gr pot).

I bought this pot at Vegas in 2010. As far as I can remember, I only ever opened it once, to cut out half and put in my palette. Don't believe I sprayed it, and even when I do that, they dry out before I put them away.

Anyone had paint go fuzzy before?

Fuzzy, no. But a white dry film over the top, yes.

Huh. It's just so weird! I need to find a second to take a photo...

I have seen something similar. Not white, but it looks kind bubbly on top like it is growing something.
