PS, my hubby made the stencil. I'll tell him you liked it. He will be so proud!

In the end I wasn't able to get a crew together to do it. I was 1.5 people short, and the organizer didn't want to take a chance with me not having enough painters there.

They have kept my info for the next one and other events on base.

I would love to hear how Whitney's airshow went!

I love that your husband did the stencil, it is really cute.

Here's one of the designs I created for the airshow. From a financial perspective, the airshow went great! I had major problems with my hired help though. I tried to be a blessing to a fairly new painter. I allowed her to keep 100% of the money she made. The agreement was for her to help me set-up and breakdown and be there for all hours of the show. I also provided her with 8 free training sessions to get her up to speed before the event. She left 3 hours before set-up was complete, she arrived an hour late and left 2 hours early on both days. She let her husband have her screaming children just hang out in her tent. Her husband claimed ownership of my business to one of my customers. All in all, a horrible experience with the help, but successful from a financial prospective. I will never work with her again. EVER! So unprofessional. Now the trick is just to find someone in my area I can work with. Oh and did I mention /i even let her hand out her own business cards? I tried to be so kind, but she just took advantage. Lesson learned!

That sounds like a really sucky experience. I'd have a hard time keeping my displeasure to myself all weekend. I'm glad it was worth it financially, otherwise it would have made the personnel problem that much worse.

That's a hard lesson to learn Whitney and sorry you had to go through it. It is tough when you don't have people in your area that you know and trust.

Cute design! and I am glad that from a financial view point, you felt it was worth it.

Oh, my goodness! What a mess! I'd have been livid!
On a positive note, I love your design! Do you mind if I borrow it next time I have an airshow?

Thanks guys! And you are very welcome to use the design. Lesson learned the hard way.
