want to try new paint
I have been using Snazaroo paint because I have only been working on the face and mainly on children. I have worked a little with grease paint and I don't like it. My question is what is the best to use on the body, belly and face that will not come off by rubbing. Just looking for something with a little more staying power.

DFX, TAG, Wolfe, Paradise....all better than Snaz for staying power.

I agree with Metina about the different paints. There is also Kryolan fixing spray that you can put over paint to help it stay longer.

I looove TAG and Diamond FX, and of course Wolfe. I don't love Paradise, it is too "fragrant".... Snaz can kinda bite me, though I do love their turquoise.
Re: want to try new paint
Metina is right on! I started with Snazaroo and now have found that I use mostly others! It's a potpourri in my bag, but I still use the Snazaroo metallics, as I love the colors and shimmer.
Re: want to try new paint
I like Diamond FX or Wolfe for line work. I am still trying to get used to Paradise. It is softer and the light colors (like yellow) and not very opaque. All are smoother to work with and more concentrated in color than Snaz. Just bought several Tag splits but haven't has a chance to try them yet....tomorrow!

Re: want to try new paint
Wolfe/TAG/DFX are interchangeable w/ slight differences. They all work great for linework & basework. Paradise is wonderful for blending & will blend w/ a brush or sponge. Most of us have a mix of brands. I use Paradise for bases & Wolfe/DFX/TAG for my linework(the metallic/Pearl lines I use for bases also).
For body painting/belly painting I prefer Paradise. It doesn't flake when covering large areas(Wolfe/DFX/TAG all can flake & once they dry it's harder to blend a new color in).

I am new with nowhere near the experience of these guys but I've got to say that I am falling in love with the TAG metallics--nice colors, pretty blends, good wow factor, decent pricing although it is harder to make splits with metallics as they crumble more). Just my two cents but like you I started with Snaz and have since tried DFX, Paradise, and Fardel but like TAG best.
