News Slot & One Fidgety Weather Man

I finally got to do my news slot. I'm mostly happy w/ it but felt like a dork... I waved at the wrong camera
The kids I painted were awesome & I have 2 clips from the show. The weather man is a very animated individual, so his design had to be toned down on the spot(I've painted less fidgety toddlers ).

BTW, the handsome young man is my awesome dancer son, sporting a Jacksonville Jaguar because our team FINALLY won a game:-)

That is great, I would have been way to nervous. That weatherman really need his mum there to tell him to - SIT STILL. (I always find I get that with the kids who need it the least)

I watched it and you did great! With him jumping all around, I'm surprized you could paint anything, or not get a huge streak of black where you didn't want it to go! Fantastic job!

LOL! I never like how I look on film, so I hate it(but knew I would). You see the dot on his nose before I start painting the cracked nose? He actually intentionally leaned into my brush & smashed it there!?! He's actually a pretty cool & goofy guy & if they let me back I think I'll have fun playing off him. I told him during the break that I should have painted his face green so he'd disappear during his weather forecast.... Not to mention he'd still be green at the noon hour if I picked the right green
Other things to note, while I was there they brought in a jaguar(to talk about the psycho guy who killed himself & released all those wild animals in Ohio), an owl, bats & a tarantula (to talk about our zoo's Halloween event) and had a discussion on air with the word "fetish" in it while I had young homeschool kids being painted The camera guy looked at the kids & said close your ears. So, seeing behind the scenes is a very unique situation.

That was awsome i watch News4Jax every morn yes Richard Nunn is a trip.You are very good at facepainting.I do it as a hobby.

The huge thing is that you kept calm and cool the whole time. I don't think I ever want to do a spot like that because when I get nervous I start to act like the weather guy! People would think I was nuts. (some do already!)
