best paraben free base?!!

Hi im kinda new to facepainting but have been doing art for years on and off...anyway! i started a few months back with snaz for all my work (not paid at mo) but found it melted n smudged v easily and that it had parabens! so i ordered a palete of dfx...i really love it tough it does seem to take some concentration n time to blend!! is there a better product for base (paraben free) or should i stick to the dfx? Il still use dfx for line work except i may order a wolfe red as it is a bit orangey!! any help appreciated

hi anniel...i think the only good brands which dont have parabens seem to be dfx wolfe and tag...the others all seem to have them...i chose dfx aswell because it doesnt have perfumes whereas wolfe does...i havnt tried tag so not sure if it would be a better base than dfx or if there is another paraben free brand i dont know about!!

Are you sure DFX and Wolfe are paraben free????

The only one I KNOW is paraben free is Grimas Pure...

I'm sure there are others...

also on the back of my dfx products there are no parabens listed at all, i have also read they are a paraben-free by other face painters - i hope they are!!

Any manufacturer will supply you with an MSDS - Materials Safety Data Sheet, where you can see the ingredients and the testing data.
