Body Painting NY Giants Logo

I have a body painting coming up where I need to paint a NY Giants Jersey on a lady. What would be the best way to do the logo?
My thoughts were, free hand it or try to make a stencil out of contact paper.
Any suggestions, thoughts?

Since it's just the NY i think you'd be able to pull it off freehand. maybe bring some sort of straight edge with you. I'd fear that taking the contact paper off may be a little painful. Are you planning on doing a jersey or your own design?

I'd freehand...maybe texture it (stipple) so it looks like the kind that is an applique, and drop shadow...or is that over-complicating it?

With logos - liquor ones which can be more detailed - I make transfers on paper with tattoo inks, then use an alcohol pad on the skin and apply like a lick'n'stick tattoo... then I have the exact outline, in proportion and ready to paint.

Or draw freehand in a white liner pencil.
