They're just standard round High density foam sponges. The difference between these and the wolfe sponges is the holes. Wolfe sponges are like a potters sponge.

the wolfe ones have a rounded back are denser and are about 6mm less in terms hight when laid flat on half circle side - my sponges some of the tag, fantasy world wide, wolfe, rock, pottery and ceramic sponges its a bit of a mix. I find they are all good for diffrent things.

I hate the tag ones the most, all the others I use for diffrent things. If I had to do it all again what I would change is I would replace all my Tag sponges - of which I have the most with the green fantasy world wide. and the rest that I have I wouldn't change.

The price could be better. I get 100 tack sponges for around $30 on Ebay Wink

Those look like the round snaz sponges.

I saw a FABAtv video where someone uses just the black snaz(I think teardrop shapes). I've never seen a package of just black sponges. Most times, I need 20 sponges for a gig. The black would be nice!

They look like standard sponges. The top ones look like the ones Snaz sells. The middle ones look like either greenies(world wide fantasy sponges) or the ones made out of seat cushion material(found at Joann's or Michaels) & the bottom ones look like your standard tack sponge.

My favorite sponges are the World Wide Fantasy Sponges. I also make my own out of the green cushions you can buy at Joann Fabrics. I just cut out triangles in the size I want.

I have the petal shaped sponges that snaz sells & they seem too big for me & my style of sponging. The black & white ones are a little coarser in texture than the other colors.

These are the same foam, just different colours. I've heard good things - but have not tried them myself.

And Snaz does sell their teardrop shaped sponges in single colours so you can buy JUST black if you want.

I bought that snazaroo sponge "flower" and I HATE it. I don't use it at all. It's really stick and doesn't hold much paint.

I have tried the Snaz petals... too big as they are. But you can cut them if you want. And I like the density of the foam, but won't be buying any as I have enough that I like.

I'd like to try tack sponges but don't know where to get them in Australia and can't believe how much postage is to Australia on ebay. Actually maybe ebay was playing up as the first time I searched for them there were two choices, the lowest postage price being around $30, the highest $60 but now neither appear and there are more choices - weird. I only checked again a minute later. There seem to be different types of tack sponges - some just look like sea sponges?

What is it about FWW ones that is different to other sponges? I have Tag ones at the moment

I heard someone else suggest tack sponges somewhere... But when I asked at all of the horse and farm stores they only had really big, holey ones that don't work very well...

I got some facepainting sponges from Dauphines of Bristol that work pretty well but they're very similar to basic bath sponges from what I can tell!
