Re: Wicked sponges!
I wont use anything but the wicked sponges. When I first started painting, I had tried all the different sponges and was having a terrible time with my bases. Im sure part of it was just being new to painting. But, I went to Amarillo and took a class with Christina Davidson. She uses the pink sponges. they are very dense (very few holes) and are very very spongy...almost like they have a rubbery type quality to them. Anyway...I fell in love and my sponging hasnt been an issue since. Also, I round the ends also to fit into the eye socket. (another trick Christina introduced me to) No more messy butterflies here
Thery are very durable too! Havent had one "go bad".

Re: Wicked sponges!
LOL - they are very high that is the price of facepeinting in Australia-
why we I guess some of us tend to order in bulk from America

Re: Wicked sponges!
These are my absolutely favorite sponges--I know this is a really old thread--but I had to tack this on. They are more robust than the green Fantasy sponges--but just as soft. Their butterfly sponges ROCK.
