TAG Gelati???

I love the colors in the TAG Gelati base blender, but it has a warning that says it is not FDA approved for cosmetics, only for "special effect". Has anyone ever had any problems with it?

NOPE...not at all. I love the TAG Gelati. The colours are gorgous. I use mine all the time.

I have a TAG Gelati. It has nice colours that the girls like. I use it for masks and the occasional butterfly. In my opinion the Carnival one is 10X more popular as it really stands out because it is so bright. It makes a really nice rainbow of colours, where as i find it takes a long time to get the neon rainbow cake to not go muddy. just my 2c though

Anything that has neon colors in it that have not been tested have to say that on the label

Melody, I have a Gelati also - I bought it specifically because it had bright colours without having any neons in it. The neons have that warning and I try to minimize my use of them.

I just went and looked at mine, and it does not have that warning. I looked at the TAG website and it says the colours are all regular colours, not neons, so I don't know why they would now put the warning on. Strange.

Is gelati a type of colour combo or a new type of tag paint? It looks the same as other tag combo's in terms of texture?

Helena, Gelati is just TAG's name for that specific colour combination. Made with regular TAG paints.

The site I was looking at it on had the *this hasn't been tested* warning, but now I am looking at it and it doesn't, which is kinda of strange. I just wanted to make sure; didn't want to put it on my wishlist if I was going to be afraid to use it.

I just went to hit them up an Facebook and ask them about it, but my fb is "down for maintenance". *Shrug* If no one has had a problem with it, I am not going to worry.

I think they used to have a neon color in there but now it's all regular colors and still very pretty I think...but I think Metina is out right now.
