Thanks, fun frog! I'm in OZ - off to Priceline I go! Do you find it takes a lot longer to dry than ready-made bling as others have suggested?

Sad to say that I do have one Derivan Bling. Seems to about the same dry time for both. Will not touch Derivan for their paints but their liquid bling seems fine.

I'm in Liverpool, I notice you're in Perth? I hate Derivan! I did have one of their glitter gels but lost it before I could do much with it. I bought a set of Derivan when I started - never again!

Thanks to this site I never even started with their paint range but have seen them in action many times and shudder. Thinking those poor children, just let ME at them and they'll soon see the difference good quality paint can make.

If only I'd known about this site sooner. Aslo wish I didn't pay $250 for my Paradise palette. That's how much I paid to an Australian seller, I could have bought it cheaper overseas!

Derivan should be banned. Hideous stuff.

Lol, lovely haiku Razz

For some reason, liquid bling is one of those things that has had to grow on me. I didn't even think it looked that great when I first saw it...now I lust after it every time I see it in a design.

I don't have any yet but I'm definitely getting some gold on my next order. Seems that the general consensus is to go for the actual Liquid Bling brand...so I'll keep that in mind.

I have both, but the liquid bling has been gathering dust for years because of the wicked metal tip that kept getting clogged even with a pin in it and only used it on 12 year olds & up.

I got Mark's prototypes of his Glittermark at his Workshop before he introduced his signature products at FABIAC. I started using them for delicate effects from a safer finer tip. I have six colors that work fine and the watery purple was replaced by the vendor. Since the line is thin it doesn't take that long to dry.

Happy Painting,
Susan

I wish this thread had been around back when I bought my silver Glitter Mark. It's so watery I can't do anything with it. I put it away for a few months but decided to give it another try and it separated out, the liquid from the glitter... and no matter how much I shake it it won't re-mix. TOTAL waste of money.

Call your vendor about the watery GlitterMark. My vendor replaced it, no questions.

I would, but I bought the stuff quite a while ago, if there were a warantee it would definately be expired by now. I'm pretty much just chalking this one up to a learning experience and not planning on buying anymore.

I know right? I like Mark Reid's brushes, so I thought the Glittermark would be of a comparable quality... Well...you know what they say about assuming....
