I'm so sorry. There's no one who can replace a mum, I miss mine still and no matter what the age or reason, it's still hard to bear, especially when there is distance involved.
Maybe you can keep in contact through skype or some other free chat program? At least that way you and your kids can spend more time with her than otherwise might be possible when you live so far apart...I do hope they're able to find a liver for her quickly and that those three years stretch on and on so that ten years from now you'll be together, looking back on this difficult time...

My mom was 53 when she passed suddenly from a massive bleed on her brain. No chance to say goodbye. Father passed after a long bout with cancer which invaded his brain and altered his personality. I believe I will see them again one day. That is the only thing that makes it easier. Prayers for you.

I am so sorry to hear that. That is horrible. I would try to stay positive and strong for her and your children just chcerrish those little moment and make her feel loved! i hope everything works out for the best. You and your family are deffinatley in my prayers!

Ah and I forgot, I know you are a creative person, make a blanket memory quilt with your family pictures, so she will always be covered by the love of her family and when somebody else sees it, she will always tell stories about her daughter and grandkids.
