first bodypaintings
I was going to wait until I had the pics from the photographer, but I just couldn't wait any longer. Here are my first three bodypaintings. I had so much fun painting and I am surprised they turned out as well as they did. Of course afterwards I noticed a lot of things that I could have done better or differently. (isn't that always the case? lol) Now I just can't wait to get the professional pics.

FANTASTIC work..You really kicked butt..that blue is certainly the hero!! Wicked..
Re: first bodypaintings
thanks, the tiger and the pink of the warrior are blacklight colours, we had two sets for the shoot one of them was with blacklight, I can't wait to see how the pics turned out.
...the blue one was actually not planned to be what it became at all, she was supposed to be a matching warrior to the other one but we changed the desing at the last minute (something tribal with darker colours) and that's what it turned out to be.

Awesome work! SOMEDAY I will try my hand at body painting. What was the occasion?
Re: first bodypaintings
Great job! Itching todo another and this really makes me want to get in there!!
Re: first bodypaintings
Gorgeous! Maybe it's the costumer in me, but I like the pink and gold armour one the best.
They're all beautiful though.
Re: first bodypaintings
They are all 3 amazing! I don't know if I have the patience to do full body art. The pink warrior makes me think of a character from She-ra.

We did the shoot so each one of us could add the pics to their portfolio. I saw some of the pictures that evening when the photographer put them on his laptop and showed us, they were great, unfortunately I have not heared back from him since the shoot. He said it will take him 2 - 3 weeks so I am just a little worried that he is not getting back to me atm.
The pink one is the Angelus from the witchblade grafic novels. It took me longer than expected so I had to cut the design short a bit, especially the leg parts, in order to still have enough time to paint the other two.
Re: first bodypaintings
If you do something like this the photographer is more than likely going to get back to you...it really does take awhile if they are a working photographer especially if they do weddings! BUT I always take my own pix as well mostly because I don't trust that I am going to get proper product shots. Artistic shots can rock, but if you can't see the paint...no good to me! I've had this problem with one photographer twice now. Won't be working with him again. Great guy....great art shots....but most are completely useless to me.
Re: first bodypaintings
I did take my camera along but I had been busy all the time painting the three models. So I only got a couple of pictures after I was done and with those the lighting was not that good, and they are not really portfolio material. He said he took about 800 pictures total, so I am well aware that it will take a while to work through them. What worries me is that it's been 1 1/2 weeks and he has not gotten back to me at all.
