The only thing I could find after a brief search on the lumiere powders was this:

"Luxe powders can also be used to create Mica tattoos and are favorite amongst face painters because they go on smooth and vibrant and work excellent for any base design."

So at the very least, they're similar to mica. Maybe someone else could shed more light on this!

Yes--he's stateside, I think...got here fast & only charged me $1. shipping. If you know what you want, my son is just starting his stencil business and could do some for you...

He only charges $1.00 flat rate shipping. I live in Canada, so I pay $2.00. Sometimes $3.00 if it is a larger order.

Well, I finally got a chance to play around with my mica tattoo stuff and... I love it! The black mica is velvety and dark, and really resembles a real tattoo. And the colours are just amazingly shiny and shimmery and metallic... they're awesome!

Here are my first attempts:

Now just to figure out how to handle those tiny loose stencil bits... they are quite tricky!

When I do glitter tattoos, that mushroom is my most requested design!! I love him. I am LOVING that black mica powder. Seriously.... LOVE. I need some STAT!

Those are nice. Just wanted to ask if you'll insurance covers if you do glitter tattoos, cause I just signed up for k&k through summit and they told me they don't cover glitter tattoos :-(
