Denise, I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for, but can you work your magic & make this work for you?

I like the gold, Pat! That's pretty cool. Was that the powdered Mehron stuff?

I think if I create a more rounded bottom or a different shape it would speed up the quick batman a lot, then I could just make the top exaggerated so it would still look cool.

I was thinking of something like Christina Davison where everything is above the eyebrows but then it's not quite a mask. Suzy had a quick batman that was on the forehead, maybe if I worked with a 3/4" brush on a tribal sort of bat...hmmm. Smile

Denise, that is Fab's gold. You can see how great it shows on Wolfe black, so you KNOW it looks good on most other colors.

Denise, painted this a few months after starting FP'ing using Fab Rage & Gold. Think my lines have improved! I also have & really like: Fab silver, copper, bronze & old gold. Haven't tried the glitter gold yet.

Who B What E, I really like that version! Whenever I paint my torn version they ask me to finish it Rolling Eyes My most favorite part of it is the lack of a painted nose! I always am at a loss as to where to put webs around the nose.

It is all done by brush. It takes a little longer than other designs, so it's one of my higher priced ones. Plus, all the boys want it, and they will pay what I charge, lol!

My Spidey is pretty basic. I used to do a full-face Spiderman and I was never really happy with it. So now it's more of a mask, and thus a little quicker.

I do all the red and white with a 3/4" brush and I don't go right to the eye. For some reason I always find that the little boys who want Spidey are really sensitive to paint close to their eyes and scrunch up too much.

I do a mask as well. I really don't like painting around kids mouths so unless I am asked specifically to do a whole face that's what I do. I use Ben Nye's Magic Cake Aqua Paint in red and Starblend for the eyes. I use a smoothie blender for the eyes and it makes it really fast and easy to get that spidey eye shape. The kids seem to like it better too since it's not so wet feeling. Also, it doesn't smear as easily.

This is great, Just to clarify though, you used dry brush shading into the red, but is that a wash or more dry brush shading out into your arm? (the shadow of the torn edge on your arm?)
