Being Mrs.Claus - any tips

Post by Misha on Mon Nov 28, 2011 6:30 pm

Hey all! I was asked to be Mrs. Claus for a tree lighting and then help Santa with the kiddies. Not worried about any of the duties except finding out the Childrens names for Santa, since he knows everyones name so he can't ask! I'm supposed to be slick about it but I can see myself running out of ideas pretty quickly. Has anyone ever done anything like this? Any tips? scratch

Let's write a really quick list for you
, so you don't forget what you're going to ask him...we'll put your name on the top, hmmm...how do you spell your name again, I always forget...

I dress as Mrs. Clause. I've never done what you have to do. I usually read Christmas stories(Twas the Night Before Christmas, Rudolph, The Story of Baby Jesus, etc.). Mrs. Clause is also a very good face painter:-)

I like what anniel said.

Has anyone ever said that Mrs. Clause knows all the kids names? I thought it was only Santa. I would totally play that. "Well Santa knows all of our friends names, but I am sad that it isn't a talent we share....may I ask your name little friend?"

Thx for the ideas guys, I knew I could count on this forum! Anniel -I also get a Santa's List prop so I might use that to jot down the harder names! Psalmbook -Sadly for me this Mrs. Claus doesn't get to paint but one of his elves gets to on the 10th!
