Re: Show me the masks!
I'm addicted to masks. OK, I may have posted wayyyy tooo many pics:P
I wear them to most gigs & try to do something new each time!

I do a lot of masks like this when the weather's hot.

Here is a really simple garden fairy I was playing around with
It's actually inspired by a person that was inspired by Marcela. LOL

Here is another I did at a birthday party. I didn't take the picture

Re: Show me the masks!
CottonKandyClown, the colours on your garden fairy are just WOW!(Is it Tropical Breeze?). And what number of brush did you use for the flowers? Mine always seem too small...
Linda, love your masks, soooooo different and beautiful!
And Kathy, you're a beginner? Then I'm looking forward your work within a year !!! Your mask is stunning!
Here's the very first I did (about a year ago). I didn't have any water paints so I used my eye shadow and eye-liner!

Re: Show me the masks!
Yep, it's Juicy Fruit. I'm always looking for new ways to use it
I use the camouflage brush that Marcela uses in one of her videos. You have to look at the FABATV prdoucts on the video to find the brush. I can never find it on SillyFarm! Ugg! I guess it's like a cats tongue? It's wonderful for petals!!!

Wow! I love the Marcela inspired mask! Lovely! The other pic is just funny(I love when people get caught midstream in action:-)
Eyeshadow & eyeliner?!? Wow, not bad! I'd never get a mask to work w/ those combos!

Thank you for the encouragement Pilereta!
Going to have to get a juicy fruit cake - I am always drawn to those colors when I see them. Love that garden fairy mask CottonKandy.

Re: Show me the masks!
Linda, your masks are AWESOME!! My favorite is the third one down on the little girl. It looks amazing on her dark skin!! Your masks all have really awesome shape. I was trying to do masks with my arty cakes last night. Good gravy, I need work! A couple of these are going right into my inspiration folder.
Re: Show me the masks!
My trick to sponging on a mask is to sponge a "fan" between the eyes & onto the forehead & then sponge a butterfly on each side. Then it's just flowers, hearts, tear drops, swirls or whatever you can imagine around the edges. I'm not so great at symmetry, so I always try to take the photos off center
