Painted People Stories

I am a professional Storyteller and have incorporated my face painting at events where I am storytelling. This is the Mother Duck from the story of The Ugly Duckling. I fell in love with her!

Every once in a while I do a design that I just love! I feel so sad when I have to wash off my favorite designs!!!

Anybody else who occasionally suffers from separation anxiety?!

ahwww.... i can imagine how you feel... that duckie comes alive while you tell your strory... and dies when you wash her off....
thats not really a happy ending....

she is immortal...and can be reborn at anytime...

I'm sad when I paint something I really like & it walks away before I can get a picture.

I have seen these many times. I wish I had photographed all my hand designs ... these, and the fabulous ones for AT&T, were my inspiration too.

In the photo I am at the Flathead Indian Reservation for an interview on "Good Medicine" a Native Health program serving the area. When I am not painting I lecture on health disparities affecting minority women. (The coat is an Inuit design from further out, North West.

San Antonio (The River Walk!!) is one of my favorite places to visit especially at CHRISTMAS! Glad you like Mama Duck.
