Painted People Stories

Post by TheSparklingLady on Tue Dec 06, 2011 2:46 am

I am a professional Storyteller and have incorporated my face painting at events where I am storytelling. This is the Mother Duck from the story of The Ugly Duckling. I fell in love with her!

Every once in a while I do a design that I just love! I feel so sad when I have to wash off my favorite designs!!! Sad

Anybody else who occasionally suffers from separation anxiety?! Surprised

I love your Mother Duck(I want to see her say AFLACK Very Happy ).

I'm sad when I paint something I really like & it walks away before I can get a picture.

I love Mother Duck! How cool is that? Wish you were telling stories in my town, I would love to bring my neices and nephews, they would be so enchanted... silent

Guido's art always amazes me! He did some advertising for AT&T (phone company) and the designs were awesome (and the "handimals" for WWF, and his tribals, and ....)!! Take a look: http://www.guidodaniele.com/?page_id=7 I love you affraid

I have seen these many times. I wish I had photographed all my hand designs ... these, and the fabulous ones for AT&T, were my inspiration too.

Pilareta, the shirt you are wearing would look GREAT with Steam Punk face art! Smile

Smile In the photo I am at the Flathead Indian Reservation for an interview on "Good Medicine" a Native Health program serving the area. When I am not painting I lecture on health disparities affecting minority women. (The coat is an Inuit design from further out, North West. Smile

I love hand art, I studied Guido Daniele for a bit of my art and played around with an eagle on myself...
