Don't get the Coastal Scents fairy dust...

I ordered the .004 fairy dust from Coastal Scents because it said this about the .008 "This larger particle size of .008, this is not recommended for eye use due to the size"...big mistake. It's holographic but so baby fine that it almost like applying a mica powder...it obscures the design a bit. I might use it for under line work and add it to my micas...but I'm disappointed and didn't want someone else to make the same mistake.

I love the super fine from coastal (both gold and holographic). I mix 2:1 with the interfine micas and use in my little shimmer wands.

Do you use the mica mix in face painting? What does it look like? I've got a whole bag now.

I use it just like you would glitter for face painting, but I apply it with a refillable powder brush. Some people have a hard time with this application type- getting the glitter on without smudging the design if they forget to get it down before linework- but I have found my groove with it. Let me send you a sample and you can try it with a fluffy brush. PM me your address.
