Cleaning face paint off pvc

Post by RoseVH on Mon Dec 19, 2011 1:08 am

Hi everyone,

Just a quick question on behalf of a friend who has a jumping castle business....how do you get face paint off pvc/plastic/jumping castles? Does anyone have any good remedies?

Cheers,
Rose

What about a magic eraser? I haven't used it to clean a jumping castle but I do use it to clean the paint off my practice head. I think it would be gentle enough. Good luck! Smile

Pure Acetone. I got some at Sally Beauty Supply for less than 3.00 Someone here on the forum said it works everytime to remove paint from practice heads. I haven't had a chance to try it yet.

Ivory Bar Soap...straight on, then wiped off. My new cheap miracle cleaner! (Had a friend last week who borrowed mine & got Wolfe Black splashes off the textured wallpaper at a hotel we worked)...at 3 bars for $1 at the local Dollar Store, you have to thank Heaven for simple solutions.

i work in a business that is mainly rides and jumping castles and the best and easiest way to clean facepaint off a jumping castle is vynyl cleaner. not sure about the brand but it comes in a spray bottle and it not only cleans the castle it makes the vynyl look like new again! nice and shiny. the only downside is the large surface area of the castle takes ages to clean. (if there is a castle with loads of paint they make me clean it haha)
