Best green for "The Wicked Witch of the West"?
Please help, I can't decide which green to use for the witch in an upcoming Wizard of Oz play I am painting for.
The witch is more of a medium green but not bright. I was looking at Snaz grass green or would the Star Blend green work?
I have never seen either in real life, only photos. I have the tag medium and light green, but they are too bright. Please help!

Sorry if this turns out too big. This was my Halloween costume this last year. It's Paradise Lt Green

This is Snaz Grass Green as the base, with a combo of other greens for highlights and shadows

Wow Shannon! Love your witch! How do you do the warts?
@ ChaCha- you are the most beautiful "wicked" witch I've ever seen!
Anyone tried the Green Starblend?

Starblends probably would not be great. Some of the colors are not as pigmented. I love starblends for kids, but not for adults. They can handle the full face painted.
I love paradise light green. I use it for my bases for lizards. My new fave green is the Interferenz Kryolan silver green. It's great for a full face. It might be too shiny for a witch though.
I also have a Kryolan lime green that would be beautiful. It's more of a light muted green. I don't know why it's called lime

The client brought them with her - she bought a package of them at Value Village.
But I've made them with liquid latex before... just drop some on the back of a plate and spread it out (use as much as you want more = bigger or many), let it dry, then peel it up and roll in your fingers to a ball, then put a small drop of latex on the plate, put the ball of dried latex on the wet spot, brush a coat of latex over the whole thing, let it dry on the plate, then powder it, lift off the plate and powder the bottom too (to stop it sticking to itself at all) and you've got a flat-sided wart ready to apply...

I use the green Starblends for many things. It's a darker green than those shown above... I like it for the Hulk and other monster type things on kids... but I think the details will get lost in the darker color if you're doing an adult witch.

I used snaz green for this witch on my face, too:
(just makeup no prosthetics)

I love paradise colors for bases too. I would either go with amazon like Suzy said or lime green. The light green is almost more of a yellow green and it works awesome if you are adding darker shadows. I love using black starblend over light green. The combo works AMAZINGLY well for witches.
