Personal Goals for 2012!

I thought this would be good to start too. We all need to set some personal growth or loss goals(lol) for the new year. What's yours?

My goal this year is to try and simplify my life. Many times I try and save a buck, time, step here or there and it ends up complicating and frustrating me to no end. I have decided to really think if that $5 coupon is really worth the 30 minute drive there and back-probably not. I want to start applying this logic to all aspects of my life.

I need to get back down to 150 lbs. I currently don't know how much I have to loose, I'm not gonna step on the scale till jan 1. I need to decide if I want to get back to hooping or take up zumba.

I need to finish unpacking from the move and get rid of probably 80% of what's still boxed up... we've been here 3 months and if I haven't needed it so far, odds are I really won't ever need it again! I know there are at least 3 more boxes of facepainting related stuff, so I may be listing it here in the near future

Other than that, I need to get back to my diet/ working out that I was doing before the move, as I've put back on 40 pounds that I had previously gotten rid of!

I've lost weight & am not sure if I could lose a few more lbs or if I'm at my goal weight right now.... So... Continue my life style change(some call it a diet ) & learn to maintain my weight loss.
I want to get back into serving in the community at the children's home I used to serve at.

Face paint goals:
figure out the youtube thing & start making tutorials.
Start taking 1 weekend a month off from my face painting job to spend w/ family (it's been the 1st time in a long time that I can afford to do this... Yaaaayyyy!!!!)
Pursue the body painting aspect of the industry
Do more prenatal
There are a few kinds of painting that I stink at(Transformers, Star Wars). Figure them out instead of avoiding them & then feeling like garbage when I paint awful looking designs on kids faces.

My goal is to get my car fully functional by the end of the year. New tires, air conditioner (important for a heavy black car in FL), and weather stripping. Also, to take my little brother to FABAIC.

sweethavenarts, I love to hoop! It is so much fun.

My goals are to get in better physical shape so that everything is easier, schedule more gigs, and focus on the extras I need for my business (business equipment).

I could list many more things, but you'd just get depressed by my never-ending to-do list.

My 2012 goals are to find a new job. Lost my job of 14 years on December 19th. I have been a bit in the depression side and I need to get outta the funk.
I really don;t know what I want to be when I grow up. haha
But, really wishing I could make my face painting company a full time job. There are just a lot of amazing entertainers/painters in my area.
Losing weight is a definite goal.

To get a job in school administration so that I can make decent money and have holidays off with my kids.

Having special needs kids it makes it hard to find fair paying work that allows me that time off I need to spend with them. At the moment I work four days a week from 5am - 915am; the hours are good (can be home with them while they're up) but the pay just isn't enough to support the five of us.

Of course, if the face painting really took off that would be even better! To quit "real" work and be able to make a living doing something I love would be amazing...and probably a dream many of us share

Lose 20 pounds. Eat healthier, play DDR every day. Keep trying new recipes and improve my cooking ability.

De-clutter my life.

Get out of the house more, make new friends.

Save up some money and buy a new car.

I'm feeling good about this year...

~Stay quit from tobacco (uuugggghhh)
~Finish paying down bad debt and get moved out of this tiny apartment by end of summer
~Attend a class or convention to develop my FP abilities

My goals... I want to lift my face painting business off the ground.
Add party packages and glitter tattoos to my services...
Finish my posters and put them up EVERYWHERE!
Learn to control my anxiety better...

I can't think of anything else...
