Aloha. New To Forum in Las Vegas

Aloha Everyone. My name is Lindelle. I am new to this forum. I am from Hawaii but have been living in Las Vegas for 10 years now. I have been face painting with my husband for only a few months now but really love it. Our background is in the arts and Face Painting is another form of Art with a different canvas. Love the challenges and creativity that we get from Face Painting. I also took on this new venture because it was also a way for me to spend more time with my family and have funds to support them as well. Just a few months ago I took a leap of faith and left my job as a skin care specialist teacher at Aveda Institute and started focusing on building our business which needed much attention. I used to never see my children from juggling teaching, outcall massages, bridal makeup, photo shoots, etc...This is something I can do with my family We are a husband and wife with 2 children. We are very much involved in the Polynesian community here in Las Vegas. Our background is in Polynesian Entertainment-Dance Teacher, Performer, and Musician, Our goal is to enrich the lives around us through our music, services, and teachings. We are very much a part of our Christian Home Church- Thy Word Ministries International Faith Center ran by Pastor George and Gail Kamakahi. Kaina is a singer and musician for the church and I am also a Singer and musician for our church and teach Sign Language Ministry & Hula Ministry.

Hi Lindelle and welcome to the site. Its full of very useful information and the people are great here. I live in Henderson and have been a Vegas resident for about 20 years. Yikes... I have 3 children 2 boys 19 and 16 and a little girl who is now 3. For now I am a stay at home mom til my voluntary furlough is up in 2013.
