Shannon Fennell wrote:None of my face painting photos have been altered except for cropping and watermarking. A couple of the body painting images have had the colour balance tweaked, and one I did a lot of "tidying" on to remove hair and creases in the thong...

this one - her hair was all over the nap of her neck and the thong had several creases in it, and I also took out the outline of the nipple covers.

It was more of a class project for me as I was taking a class in using Photoshop for Photographers. I just don't have the time to fuss around so rarely use it. I generally just crop and post.

OMG Shannon, I had to read this twice. I am so tired today I thought you meant you had to edit the hairs from the thong. LOLOL Laughing

These models need to listen to Tyra Banks "You come to work ready shaved or waxed!"

Dude, Shannon could be more fierce with her models than Tyra could ever conceive!

affraid OMG... that's so funny!! lol!

Actually... I once did make-up on a fairy in a leotard... and, um, yeah... if I had a photo of that angle of the costume... it would have needed SERIOUS photo "fixing"... Suspect

lorrinwagner wrote:Thanks Kara, I might have browsed your website too. We'll have to get together sometime. Do you work at BG or just do independent?

I completely missed this. I work with BG through a contracted art company and with a local entertainment company. I can't stand doing business. I just want to paint. I rather give someone a cut (or in BG's case take a tiny slice) of the check than deal with that.
I'd love to get together! I've been thinking about holding a jam at my place and set up a backdrop photo area. I know a bunch of local artists and models who are interested.

Yes, I have been wanting to do a jam for a while. Give me a call and maybe we can plan it together, make it less daunting. It would be awesome to do it before FABAIC so everyone could meet and see about roommates and such. I know a few people but not a lot but I think it would be a blast. I know some people have made custom splits for a jam, that would be cool too. Or at a restaurant might put less pressure on you. I can't wait!
