My 1st Order is here!!!

My 1st Order Finally arrived!

( 12pack Wolfe High Density Sponges, Brush Tub . The pallette is a Paradise pallette in Pastel. 3 Mama Clown Glitters in Poof Bottles ( 2 White Fairy Dust & 1 Hot Pixie Pink). Top left Rainbow Cake: Egg Drop Rainbow Cake , Top Right: Find a Cure Rainbow Cake, Bottom Left: Face Magic Fantasia , Bottom Right: Face Magic Mystique)
Arty Cakes (left to right) Neon Burst (LOVE IT!!!) ,Ruby Sky, Indian Sunset, and Light Leaf

I still have a few things to get. I wanna get some DFX White, Black, and some other colors. So METINA look out!

I also need some brushes. Still on the fence about where to get those. I know of one local store that sells legit art supplies so I'm gonna check them out first.

What do you guys think?

Oh that all looks fantastic! Would you mind listing what you got? I'm a newbie and would love to know what brands/colours those rainbow and split cakes are. Thanks! Can't wait to get my first order!

Black and white are a must...i go thru them more than anything else..you will also need to get some brushes..go to micheals and pick up a few and see which ones you like..you can't paint without them..

you can also go on lowel cornell website and ck out the 7000 series..great brushes i love the 3000 comfort ones...truely amazing brushes.

Congrats! I would get definitely order more primary colors like red and yellow, as well as the red and black you mentioned. I love the gold grip brushes. Enjoy!

I can only dream of getting all of that in one go! Haha, I have to pick up bits and pieces where I can... That looks like a treasure trove!

How FUN! You're definitely off to a better start than most, I would think. Purchasing white and black in larger quantity is the best bargain because you WILL go through them twice as fast - maybe faster - than all the other colors in your pallet.

My advice on paint: You need more boy colors: primary colors like red, dark blue, orange, dark green.

Metina sells great brushes at a very good price. The Paradise 1" flatbrush will work great w/ those artycakes. I'm not sure what her shipping is to your area, but I'm sure it'll be the best of any other company. You should also get a good white & black like DFX.

I'm with Linda on the "boy" colors. You've got some really nice stuff that would make any girl happy though!

I totally agree with you guys on the boy colors part! I think I got the bases covered for girls. And I think I'm gonna get the 90grams DFX white and black, and the 32g in the boy colors

Also maybe a dragon one stoke cake and a snake one stroke cake..
the boys here really love the snakes and the dragons

Well, she can use the Mystique for drakes and the light leaf for snakes?
