Tested out some of the paints from my 1st order last night!

Post by Mika's Creations on Fri Dec 30, 2011 8:55 am

Based on the reviews and comments about these paints, I knew that they would be good. My only concern was how they would look on darker skin and I have to say I LOVE IT!!! They look even more vibrant in the sunlight on my skin.

Ohhh! Nice!!!

Yes, if you learn the techniques the paints will actually look amazing on dark skin. getting good coverage is pretty easy. I love the look of metallics over dark skin!

flower The base color behind the roses is a pink from the pastel Paradise pallette. Everything else is from Silly Farm Rainbow or Arty Cakes. Silly Farm makes their rainbow and arty cakes from a variety of FDA approved paints. So it could be snazaroo, wolfe, paradise, among others. Smile

You are a great painter. I can only imagine good brushes will bring your work up a notch. I am happy you love your new paints. There is nothing more fun then opening up a new parcel full of face paint.

sure no problem. I mean this is what this forum is all about right.
For the main body it should only take three strokes. 1)Horseshoe type stroke for the body. 2)Two petal strokes for the legs 3) Two little strokes for the feet. 4) Two white oblong circles for eyes.

The rest is just outlining. You can use any facial expression you like. You can even add some eyelashes to make a cute girl frog.

Oooo I just got an idea. You'll see it tomorrow
Wink
