Woodbridge, Va Jam 1/8 & 1/16 @ the Old Country Buffet - Photos & Reviews : )
The Woodbridge Jam will be held the second Sunday instead of the first for January only because New Year's Day falls on the first Sunday. Due to popular demand, the Woodbridge Jam will also be held on the third Monday night, same time 6-8pm & place.
LOCATION: Off I-95, take the Manassas Prince William Parkway exit and about two miles on the right the Old Country Buffet is in the shopping center on the corner of Smoketown road. From the north, take the Prince William Parkway south and cross Smoketown road to the next light to enter the 2nd & Charles Books shopping center, on the left.
Face Painters are welcome to try out & learn new designs, sharpen techniques, make new friends, share interesting tips & trix, absorbing the marvelous creative energy in great company! Everyone is encouraged to paint but if you don't want to paint, be a model for those that do (a mirror is provided so you can watch how the design is created, upfront and personal.
Like the Group's Godmother, Lilly Walters says, "the Jam is not a beginners class but we do share tips & trix", encouraging friends up the skill ladder ; )
You may paint customer's children during my Jam, if you want to ; ) Bring a towel or cloth to put over your paint kit if you don't want to paint the kids & watch other face painters. I usually have an open paint time 7-8pm when I display my 'Free Face Painting' sign next to the register. Please have Tip Jars or emply glasses (seeded with bills) displayed next to your kit when you paint kids the design of YOUR choice. I will be painting various designs on the children during this time. Bring your camera and remember, it is a PRIVILEGE to get a free face painting from any one of us, so don't be afraid to give kids a choice of which designs YOU are willing to paint on them, with a text list.
The Woodbridge Va Face Painter's Jam is on facebook, too, so you can RSVP me there, too. http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_187662581263020&ap=1
You can add your favorite Jam photos to the Woodbridge Jam album in the photos section on the left and to see all the fun we have each time ; )
See you there,
Susan

We had a great time at the Jam Sunday with one coming up this Monday nite, too. Lindy Scarbrough, face painter & Marketing Consultant will be there ; )
With Scotts help we created a video as I was showing Desiree how to create split & rainbow cakes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUAbMw1RK1c&feature=youtu.be
Some of the fun photos on the kids Sunday after 7pm ...

Happy Painting,
Susan

We had a fabulous time last night and so appreciate all the marketing tips & trix shared by Lucky, worth their weight in gold to bring our businesses to a whole new level!

I demoed roses on Kate who delighted the children with hers ; )

Kate videoed my brush cleaning demo using Desiree's Old Master's Brush Cleaner at Kate's table with surprising results. Whatever ingredients are in face paints shortens the usability of brushes unless you really take the time get them clean. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLwST2jBbZE&feature=youtu.be
