Now I understand what's the big deal!

Post by rthling on Fri Dec 30, 2011 4:31 pm

I didn't get it before, but now I do!
I have joined the ranks of the published website people!
I had no idea how excited I would be about it, but I'm practically squealing. Okay, I did squeal a bit... Okay, a lot... Very Happy

Meanwhile, here it is! www.fancyfacesbydiane.com

Woohoo!!!

Thanks! I've got a LONG way to get to your level of skill, but I've come far enough to be proud of my pictures. And I can change them out, as I get better.

I love it, it looks good, clean and professional and you can find things on it! There are too many websites that become an overcomplicated maze!

Welcome to 2012, you'd better be ready to paint... that site is going to bring in the gigs. Your work is delightful and your website easy to use. You are definitely on your way. sunny

Yeah, the "mobile studio," as I am going to call it, is now a tax deduction! I have used it more for painting gigs lately, than for camping!
Took it to the corn maze all during October and just left it there during the weekend. The kids hung out in there and watched TV, as well as cooked dinner. It was a blessing to have someplace to disappear if I needed to grab a bite to eat, or something.

I totally missed the camper, that is awesome! I don't think our pop up would look so nice. You will do really great, don't second guess your ability!

I'm going to head back and check out your camper- missed it the first time through. A tiny camper is a dream of mine- I'd love to let the local boys tag it all up and drive around a work of art!

Kudos on getting the website up- I don't know why, but pushing that "publish" button for the first time is so nerve wracking! The one unlucky part of the buisness is that, like me, you are forever doomed to renew your subscription right after Christmas when the pocketbook is thin. bleck.

Ooo, I know what you mean, Sophie! But I actually have 16 months, so it will be okay. Somewhere around tax time! LOL!
