Ok its been 6 mths since I started FPing - comparing pics!!

Awesome! But.. I gotta say Kylie... your before tiger is one that a lot of painters would aspire to.

Ekkk.. 1st time I'm posting pics so a bit nervous

The first pic is my first ever attempt @ a tiger when I had a two hour training session about 5months ago and the second pic is from just after xmas (I have just noticed though that the lines around the eyes are longer on one side then the other!!! but it is the only pic I have.)



The next photo is from the same training day where I was learning to do butterfies/fancy eyes (terrible pic!!) and then the next three are from Dec where I did a xmas party for a friend.




Love seeing all the comparisons from people! It is great!

I love seeing b4 & after pics from painters! Ya'll rock & have come a long way in such a short time! It took me years to improve because even 6 yrs ago there was no FPF for me(I found it by accident in 2009... lucky, blessed moment) & there was only a small amount of pics & youtube stuff.

Fantastic improvement Lollyjean! Those after eye designs are gorgeous!! Linda... you rock!! Love the metalic look of your after cheetah! Look at the difference. I love "before" photos that REALLY look like someone learning.

I don't ever really take out my paints and do "post worthy" clean and detailed pictures. I wish I could.. but with 3 babies, I get 3-5 minutes to practice stuff I will use for gigs. Still, you can see the difference in my "quick" designs. I didn't have the forum when I started, and I really didn't even think about youtube. I just pulled up pictures on google. Thank goodness for proper training!

LOL!! This was so funny, scary and interesting.

This is my second ever painting...in my own defense, with some crap craft brushes. Ohh my poor baby! I'm amazed I kept going!

Same concept....in Oct (about 10 months later) Although alot better, I still hate the eyebrows in this, and almost like the ones better in the first pic! lol Think I can improve on this again.

One of my first tigers in my sons football team colours.....doesn't look to happy, but he did actually like it at the time. He did I tell you!

Interesting.....I actually did this one about 3 weeks after I did that first vamp above....I even use this one on the back of my business card (the pic is pretty small, but still) I think maybe the odd fluke reasonable effort must have kept me going....so glad it did. (I hadn't even heard of one stroke yet, so done the old fashion way hehehe)

I swear if it wasnt for this forum i would never have realised just how amazing face painting can be, the improvements i see now when i look back amaze me, i just hope in another 6 months i'll look back again and see even more improvements. I owe it to the people on this forum and my youtube teachers!
