need opinions on logo help

I definitely like the first better. The second is a little hard to read. Who are you marketing, too? Do you aim to paint adults or kids or both?

i paint both so i would be marketing to both. so now i'm thinking i don't like either one lol. they are kinda of boring to me lol.

Well I like the first one better too, but also agree they aren't really indicative of what you are offering.

It is very 'adult' in my opinion but I like it

i have struggle for months with my logo lol . so i have no logo because of it lol. i need to find a balance between the two. plus i suck at graphics so that dosnt help lol.thank you ladies for your great advice:)

I'm going to be blunt...because I am but unless you were going to emphasize in adult body painting or special effects makeup, an eclipse isn't a metaphor that I would associate with face painting. Eclipses...ssss? are usually associated with rituals, power and mysteries. That being said...

I found an image of an eclipse and then put the emphasis on the business name. Facepainting is really what you are offering and not really the name of your business. The tagline doesn't fit the eclipse image at all. I don't think sparkle when I see an eclipse image. Sparkle is associated with stars, glitter, water, very light things...eclipse are dark.

If you ask the marketer/graphics side of me if this is a good launching point for your business I would say no and you are going to struggle with it. What you may think about (if you are attached to the name) is use that as your LLC name so you can keep it and then come up with a more family friendly image for face painting.

Thanks Denise that is great advice. I wanna change the name of my company but i have put that name out there so much im worried i might lose business id someone was to search for me but maybe i should change it hmm decisions lol

i do like your idea for both names maybe ill use eclipse for my fx stuff since its dark so that would work and then i could come up with a family more friendly name for my face painting and i could even put each name on business cards one in front and one in the back i like where this is going lol

Mandy, maybe you can use her logo for your FX biz?

I'd have to dust the blackness with stars to indicate "sparkle". IMO
