Got a question.

Post by l!zzie on Tue Jan 03, 2012 7:38 am

Got a phonecall from someone who was part of the babyshower I was bellypainting on.
She asked if I could also do a windowpainting after the baby is born!!
Pffff, didn't know what to say! Explained that I don't have the paint to do that, but that was no big deal. She's taking care of that, I just have to come over and paint!
What do you think of that?! Rolling Eyes

i would say yes... get enough information about want she wants so that you can do some research... i think you are ... veel talent <--- dutch
something to explore more... and tell her that this is your first time... but i dont think it will be harder then painting on a face... believe in yourself!
good luck with it

I've done window painting for years for the post office. I am very good friends with my art teacher from high school. So, I help out the art club when they paint windows. Anyway, you'll need big brushes, sponges, lots of water, and enough paint. Otherwise, I find it easier to paint on windows than children. It's a flat surface that doesn't move or talk. Just plan out your design and depending on your window size enough time.

Sounds like a fun job & it could pan out into further business. Research window painting. I'm sure it's a little different than face painting. I've considered getting into it myself....

Just a thought. I've seen some awesome window paintings done from the inside and some horrible ones done from the outside. Is it hard to plan a window design? I mean, do you have to do the line work first then go over to fill in the colors?

If it can be arranged, I'll take the challenge!
You paint from the inside, because it has to be washable paint!
Did it on school years ago with the children, it was fun!
