Vista print t-shirts? **updated**

Post by rharris524 on Tue Jan 03, 2012 12:12 pm

Has anyone ordered from them? How is the quality, specifically of the 'women's' t-shirts? I'm pretty sure I'm going to be ordering some, from somewhere, very soon to wear pretty much daily so I want nice ones but most local places seem to want approx $100 for the set up and have too large of a minimum order. Any other places I should be looking at?

I recently ordered a t-shirt from this website:
http://www.motheringhut.com/audible/custom.html

It only allows text, not images, but I think the quality is awesome.

I made a black t-shirt with "Face Painter" on the front in hot pink glitter text, and my business name in gold glitter text on the back. With shipping and everything, it came to around $21.

I keep meaning to post a picture of it, haha. Well, if you want to see it just let me know. Smile

Janna, I'd love to see a pic of the shirt. I'm trying to figure out what I'd like my shirts to look like and how the glitter text appears IRL.

I just ordered a t-shirt from vistaprint. I'll let you know what I think when it arrives. I ordered a baseball cap from them recently. Although the colours weren't as vibrant as I would have hoped, I'm still happy with it. From memory, it was free + postage of around $7-9.

Vist print shirts look good and crisp until you wash them. Then it looks like an old towel with a see through picture on it.

I've ordered tshirts from Indigo2Go recently and I'm waiting for them to arrive, when they do I'll post pictures for you. I got two tshirts with printing on the front and back, my logo on the front and the butterfly part of my logo and 'facepainter' on the back.

With postage for all that printing on two tshirts it came to £29 ($44)

I got a lot of Vistaprint t-shirts (men's version was cheap) for practically free when they were switching over their dealer program. The ink is starting to fade now so they are a lot lighter than when I first got them.

I do rotate through 3 of them so it's not too bad but I probably will have to order new ones...so they lasted about 8 months? My daughter's and husband's look a lot better because they haven't been washed as much.

Someone had a good tip about printing your main logo on the back because that is how you are seen and photographed most so I'll be doing that next time.

I bought a polo shirt thru Vista Print and was totally disappointed in the sizing. I paid like $15 for it (came reduced when purchaing other items) but it was supposed to be a woman's small and it was so tiny a 6 year old could wear it!!!
I am so bummed because the graphic was pretty cool saying "I LOVE (Heart shape) FACE PAINTING". What a waste of money.

They gave me $25 of free stuff so I ordered 2 shirts...very disappointing. I think that I might just have to pony up and pay an actual screen printing shop to get what I want

I ordered shirts from indigo 2 go, the print quality is brilliant and sizing was easy if you check the size guide...

I have 2 Vistaprint T's that I rotate, or sometimes I wear one and my hubby wears the other. Both have a small logo on the breast and then my company name, phone number & website on the back around a great shot of a design I did on my daughter. Like many, I felt that the colors were not as vibrant as I would have liked, but I wash them inside out on cold and they haven't faded any that I've noticed. Next time, I would like black t-shirts because I think the colors will stand out better, but the only thing I had to pay for on the white ones was the design on the back and the shipping. They still were pretty cheap. They are in the wash right now, but I will try to post a pic when they are clean and dry!

I ordered this one just for fun because it was free. I like it, but I'm not washing it a million times. I also got Vistaprint shirts for my business shirt and one did twist and fade the first wash, but I complained and got another one free. They've given me so much, all you have to do is stand up for yourself lol.

I haven't ever ordered a shirt, because of my sewing/fashion design experience I always just make my own if I want one. You'd be surprised how easy t-shirt decoration is! You can buy all types of iron-on letters from Michael's or Joann, or even use the freezer paper technique--here is a good tutorial for it. Takes a little practice, but once you get it down you'll never want to waste $20+ on a t-shirt again! http://www.stayathomeartist.com/2011/07/stencil-with-freezer-paper-harry-potter.html
