Hey everyone this is a update from the ava fb page

I just got off the phone with George DelRicco and Ava seems to be doing better each day. Tomorrow morning they will be replacing the flap(which is the top of her skull); this is wonderful news as doctors said it might take up to a year to replace. Also and they will look at the infection on her foot and if needed a skin graft will be applied all at once. Prayers are working. Those who have been asking about AnnMarie. She is doing very well minus a few dizzy spells. AnnMarie, George, and Ava are staying strong. Please continue to pray and share this update!

eclipse417, I live in Salisbury approx. 30 mins. from Ocean City and the community is really pulling together. I'll be performing at Coco's Funhouse this Thursday, and two other events in Feb. Everyone in the area really understands a family needs to be at the hospital with a baby and that takes $$$ that the best insurance can't cover. People on the forum please realize the child is in a hospital several hours from home, and this is very real...but we have a beautiful community that slips into two states and people care.

Happy to hear the baby and mother are doing better, prayers to the family.

I really hope Ava pulls thru but she seems like a fighter and i think she will! i know she has so much supposrt around her even by ppl that dont know her, when a child is in need everyone pulls together i love that!
