Art of Body Experience

Art of Body Experience is a new convention in Ashville, NC USA from April 7-10 2013. It is the "baby" of Terra Fender & she has a vision of a convention where the instruction is hands on (no demo classes!!!). The instructors will be available & not distant. She is also giving the chance for new instructors to come & teach. There will be some great classic teachers at the convention, but also many of the new talents will be there. I'm really excited to say I'll be teaching 2 classes. One will be a floral class & the other is to be announced (I'm not sure what it'll be yet, but it'll be good ). I have many years experience in hands on teaching (my favorite type) and am so happy to finally be able to share w/ the face & body painting community! Even before I knew I was going to picked as an instructor I was excited about this convention. It looks like there is going to be something very special & unique about it & I hope ya'll come & see it.

I'm also considering a pre-class & would love to have your thoughts on what you'd like to learn?

I sent in my application and I LOVE hands on teaching so this has my ear! Let's see where it goes. It would be awsome to have that opportunity to jam!!

I agree! I love the time of year. It's much more convenient for me. I also like that it's mostly weekdays, so I don't have to give up 2 weekends of gigs to go & it's not over any holidays. I love the big conventions, don't get me wrong. I love the instructors that have been around & built this industry, but I love all the new instructors (like Kim ). There's so much out there that's been untapped & I'm excited to be part of it!
