Another newbie from Asia

Hello Everyone, I have been snooping around here a little bit and decided to say hi to everybody. This FP forum is quite overwhelming with all the knowledge I could get from here. Learned a lot before I could even get started. My inspiration is a friend of mine in Hong kong who do FP for quite sometime, she's a mom and only working on the weekends. And I kept searching and found this forum. Seeing all your amazing work, wow, I am totally in to it.
Unluckily we don't have a place where I could buy FP kit here in Macau so I am planning to get some on the net. And base on the advices I've seen from the previous posts here ;-) here's what the newbies should have.
~Essential/basic 12 color palette. (paradise/DFX or Tag)
~white n Black for line work.
~rainbow cake
~nice brushes, Mark Reid's round #2 and #4 and #6 as well. 3/4 and 1inch flat brush.
~white glitter
~sponges

Pls feel free to comment on what to add to these and some more advices for a starter. Thanks a lot! I love to be here. Thanks Metina for making this site :-)

Your list sounds fine. I'd also choose a few basic colours from snazaroo too - the red makes the best spiderman and it's good to have some for gentler bases for younger children paintings, imo.

thanks Martha and Helena, I will get some other color then, red and maybe orange? What are the colors that you usually use in painting faces? I am very open to any suggestions coz I am never been an arty person or painting. Also I have no one but myself to practice with at home. My children is in the Philippines but I am planning to bring some of my friends over sometimes so I could play with some victims... hehe

Welcome! sounds like a great starter kit to me, I think liquid bling is a lot of fun, but it's not essential.
