"Face Off"

Anyone but me watch this. I caught every episode last season. New season starts tonight on Sci-Fi.

I think lots will be watching since most of us know (at least have met in person) Nix and Athena. Looking forward to it!

I love FX and admire those who are really good at it. Used to "slash" my throat at Halloween before I took kids Trick or Treating using plain Knox gelatin, makeup and stage blood. You would think an OR nurse would want to leave the gore at work, wouldn't you?

It's not often that I miss having cable... this would be one of those times though. I wonder if I will be able to catch it on Hulu or something?

Favorites last night: the witch by the girl's team and the lion from the guy's team (model really got into it!)

I just finished watching it on the website. I hate elimination shows because I feel bad that someone is being eliminated, especially when they seem nice. B

I love that show! Was sad because I don't get the channel it's shown on, Didn't realize I could get it on the internet - tried the syfy site, but it doesn't work here - but then found it on "space" and watched it there! YAY! (So, thank you ladies for mentioning the website idea )

I love that whole field of art, would love to learn more about it... if I could start all over that's what I'd take in college

It's such a great show. Nix and Athena's portfolio shots looked great. I hope they both make it to the body painting challenge. It was so sad last year when the body painter got cut the first week when body painting was week 2. Someone almost won that challenge using acrylic paint on a model by mistake.

I don't know how far they'll go when competing with more experienced effects makeup artists, but I can't wait to see them actually get to paint. I'm taking a guess that Athena did all the tribal body painting on her team's designs since the pattern was identical on each model. Her leopard/man hybrid in the foundation challenge was great.

I just discovered this show and watched the first 4 or 5 episodes of the first season so far - it's AWESOME!

Loved the show and it's great to see people we actually know on there! Can't wait to see Nix at Fabaic and give him a 'congrats' on landing the show. I knew Athena was on there because it's eiither Nick or Brian (the one who is NOT married lol) who is going out with her (can't remember) and we were talking about it after class.

Love the guys lion!!! She really worked it...theres a model you like to have!! I agree with the judges that the tinmen were lacking, but with the amount of time they had, it was crazy hard to get anything really great.

Here's to a great show and cheering for the 'home team'!!!

So Nix went home tonight. Got slammed for his body paint while Athena got high praise for hers.
