Tampa Face & Body Painting Jam!
Kara Mundy and I are having an awesome Jam on Monday, February 6th at 5:30pm (but you can come later). Here is the link to the facebook event, just make a note on there if you are going so we can have an accurate count - facebook. Here is the description:
Tampa Body Art Jam hosted by Kara Mundy, Lorrin Wagner, and Selena Razack!
Come join us for this awesome event! There will be a door prize, pizza, water, and plenty of creative vibes!! We will have a small photography studio area set up. Great for portfolio pictures! Thi...s is a bring your own paint and drink of choice if not water. This is a great way to network and get to know other Tampa body artists, photographers, and models!
MODELS: This is a great opportunity to be involved in art or boost your portfolio! No worries though, inexperienced or pro we are looking for models of all ages, shapes, tones, and sizes. We need models for face paint, partial body paint, and full body paint. We only ask what is comfortable to you. Please let us know if you intend on modelling and what you would like to model.
Some quick tips:
- Hairless and NO LOTION is best for body paint.
- Bring a friend to model with you. It's more fun.
PAINTERS: Let's paint! Bring paint (safe for skin only, of course), brushes, folding chairs, and models. Don't forget to invite your photographer friends.
We will have a photo area set up for portfolio shots! All artists are welcome, however supplies other than water and water cups will not be provided.
Some quick tips:
- Bring inspiration or reference photos.
- Plan out your design ahead of time if spontaneous isn't your thing.
- Have an ipod/personal music device in case you need to be in your own "zone".
- Have baby wipes and qtips handy.
PHOTOGRAPHERS: Get your cameras ready! This jam will provide some truly awesome photos! No need for other equipment. We will have a small studio set up. Everyone knows that it is a great photographer who captures the life in a photo. That's why we need you.
Some quick tips:
- Invite your models out. More to capture!
- Have plenty of battery life/film. Nothing sucks more than having a useless camera.
- Bring a laptop. Photo editing on site can resolve down time and you can easily consult with the painter.
Painters and photographers:
- Bring several MODEL RELEASES, we will not have any available so you will be responsible for your own releases.
Feel free to pm me with any questions or concerns or directions.
