How to delete pictures in the Gallery

I would like to add some new pictures to my gallery..but i do I delete some of the old ones to make room for the new ones

Go to the Gallery option, on the bottom click the 'moderation' tab on the right hand side - you can select which one you want to delete by clicking in the appropriate box and then scrolling down to the 'delete' button

I did this, but now it won't let me upload new ones, says its full, and i don't have any pics in my gallery now-
