Well... don't get me started!! I barter for Cadbury's (English Cadbury's not North American Cadbury's which tastes completely different!) I trade all sorts of FP stuff for boxes of Cadbury's Roses, or the large bars of Turkish Delight!

Purdy's Chocolates "Hedgehogs" are delicious! That's a Canadian company based out of Vancouver!

I can honestly say I never met a chocolate I didn't like. Laughing

ohh I have some of the waxy yuck stuff down here is bad like those nasty little chocolate dipped donuts >Razz ... but I might have my picky taste from my Canuck French side Smile and its on both sides lol ok there are two kinds of Cadbury's eggs down here and you have to be a real conasurer to tell.. there is the one that just tastes like sugar then there are the old kind (yummy ones) that kinda have a slight orangey flavor, even the chocolate was different.

Yuppers! The waxy stuff is horrible! Cheap and imitation!

I had a Cadbury's egg once that was wonderful... but have not had one since that tasted that good.

The best thing I ever had was something called a Mozart Ball, got it in Austria. Was a pistachio marzipan surrounded by truffle, coated with a hard chocolate. Next best is a shop in Vancouver called Dutch Girl Chocolates on Commercial drive. They hand make them there and they have one with a mango center and and advocaat truffle I adore.
Now I settle for Ghirardelli, Lindt, or Godiva Razz

That would be Ferrero Rocher. They are the one that have the chocolate/hazelnut cruchy shell with the nutella like center with the hazelnut in the center. These are my fav's with just plain old Hershey's in a REAL close second!

I get Ferrero Roche in my stocking every Christmas!! Some things just have to become traditions!

I was in a small town in Belgium call Sint Nicklaas... OMG... there was a chocolate shop there called LEONIDES - I think, I may have it a bit wrong - but you go in and pick out chocolates one by one and the staff wear white gloves and box them in a beautiful little box and tie with with gorgeous ribbon...then you go back to your small hotel room and stare at the box....

I did manage to get the box home to share... should have tried them sooner cause I would have gone back and filled my suitcase!!

Ferrero Rocher... OMG, those are delicious. I also love Godiva dark chocolates. I don't normally like milk chocolates, but most darks are my fav.

Right now, I only buy Lindt 85% dark, which most people wouldn't like... I'm on a low carb diet, so they taste pretty good to me. Everything tastes sweeter when you go low carb.

I am, at this very second staring at a Lindt 99% cacoa bar... I've had it by my computer for a few months. I bought the "collection" one 65%, one 75%, one 85% etc. All the others were really good... but... the 99% well, it's a little... well... harsh!!

I'm trying to figure out what to do with it.

Think pressed powdered cocoa ... no sugar, dryish, and strong.

Nope...for eating.

On the wrapper it says "99% is a unqiue chocolate that reveals all the strength and richness of cocoa beans. To fully appreciate all its flavour, we recommend that you progressively develop your palate through our range of high cocoa content chocolate bars, starting with Excellence 70% cocoa , then 85% and finally 99%. To best experience Excellence 99% cocoa, taste a small piece and let it melt in your mouth. You can accompany your tasting with a coffee to help bring out the bouquet of cocoa aromas."

Mmmm...chocolate....

I will settle for Dove, Lindt and the 'Symphony' Bars (Toffee/Almond Crunch)....but I'm really addicted to the 'Chocolove' brand found in health food stores. Dark chocolate, dried cherries and almonds...OMG...Smile

Heath Bars I've been known to confiscate from the kids Trick or Treat bags...love Toffee... :>

OMG!!!! who put this very wicked and evil topic here????? OK my fave is the Godiva Dk. Choc Raspberry Truffle!!!! and when I am too tired to go to the Godiva store - I hook up my bag of mini square Lindts DARK (85%) and put them in the freezer for the moment of weakness when I need a quick choco-fix. When I am being on a serious budget I stash a bag of semi sweet choc chips and raisins in the cabinet for a quick mini handful. yummmmmm dark chocolate. a must!!!!
