Hi, I always carry a model release form for photos. (I asked about this on another thread). Shannon Fennel has a great one on her resource page. http://www.shannonfennell.com/ModelRelease.pdf I changed it to suit me but basically it says that the gardian is giving you permission to use the photos for web sites, advertising etc and asks them to sign it. This way they can't say they didn't know and it covers your butt. Most people have no problem with this. Occasionally I might get a refusal but they are happy I keep a photo for my own portfolio as long as its not put out for public use. Thats ok. If I had kids I would be a little hesitant too sometimes!

I just usually say, do you mind if I take a photo for my facebook page so I can show what i have been up too.

They always say yes, and I make it anonymous and I am happy to remove it if they didn't like it.

But I usually for get half of the time until the last kid...
