Third Eye Paint

Post by KaraMundy on Wed Jan 18, 2012 8:16 pm

Was really bored at the park today. I would definitely change some things if I did this again. No photoshop or anything, just paint.
Thought I'd share.

very nice, I've seen this in body paintings but that is gorgeous, good job! Did you have something you were looking at for reference?

Thanks!

Lorrin, I was using my eyes for reference. Though, I wanted the iris to be bigger in a creepy kinda way. I've played around with rainbow and rainbow eyes before, but wanted this one to be muted and more realistic. I've been practicing them on my hand. I wish I would have given it two soft pink corner of the eye thingies instead of one now that I put it on my forehead. I didn't want eye lashes, but I'm re thinking that as well. Also wanted to do it side ways, but thought it might look like a lady part. x:

I think pink on both sides would be nice, less specific as to which eye it is. I wouldn't mind lashes, really long ones, but it is nice without. i like the colors of the iris, very pretty. Funny, I have been drawing eyes for months, now I'll have to paint one too!
