Hello from South Australia

I am very new to Face Painting, I have a couple other 'passions' eg. mixed media art and scrapbooking (haven't scrapped in quite a while tho')........ and my oh my.............. there is another whole new world with face painting!!! I think I am going to love this!!!! I love painting, and I love making people happy....
I work in a hospital part time 30-35 hours a week ( although I like my job, I would REALLY love to have my own business)..... Just myself and partner at home, we have 4 grown children with their own families now, and we have 5 grandchildren from 2 -12 years old between us... 3 boys, 2 girls, so I have plenty of willing models to practice on!!
I have been lurking in the forum the past few days checking out the talent, the wonderful sharing of ideas and helpful information...... scary and fun stuff!!!
I ordered paints, brushes, sponges, stensils, glitter, glue etc today and can't wait to get my 'face on'
I have been painting for a while now and realised I can have only so many canvases and I don't have that much happen in my life to journal about in my art journals.... and seriously felt I needed to do SOMETHING ELSE!.... I go to a market to sell my art (with my very talented scrapbooking daughter), and the idea popped in my head I could do face painting while I am at the market!!!!!
Ok, enough of me. I am going to visit and read as much as I can here in the forum, and hopefully get to know many of you in the near future...
