Love your "can" we've used them and they are great. We've got several galloon jars also, the height is important so it shows in your work area, remember all the color we're working with...it detracts from the jar.
Will attempt photos this weekend. Have found success also with tall spaghetti style contains because the small base takes up little room.
This really works: We started putting small led tea light candles in our jar...the light really drawls attention even with $$ in there. Two in a pack at Michaels for under $3. with batteries. Would like to find them that blink or in color...like GREEN! Dark gigs I have used glow sticks in ours and that works too. sunny

I am working on a new one. For a farm festival where we all dressed in pigtales and bibs, I used a large old blue mason jar with Tips painted on the front. Just because it went with the theme.

I'm thinking about doing one that I saw on here or google, it has a toy fish in the bottom and says "I breathe money, thank you for the tip." Or something like that, I thought kids might like that.
