Fun Family Face painting Day out!

My Dad turned 60 over the weekend - I have two siblings that live in New Zealand and one that lives in Australia and I live in Tonga so we decided to get together as a family in New Zealand to help Dad celebrate this new milestone in his life......so this is the first time I have been with my siblings in the same house for a long time and it was a given that they were all going to get facepainted.....granted it isn't the best facepainting ever (it was a bit rushed and I ended up painting my husband driving down the motorway)but it was so much fun and seeing people's reactions as we were driving down the motorway - when we stopped for Gas - and when we all sat down at McDonalds - was priceless!....we were stuck in traffic and the guy in the car in front of us hopped out of his car and ran over to our car and started bowing down to my hubby and told him that he thought his 'mask' was awesome! and he wanted to know what the occasion was.....umm no occassion...we're all just a bit nuts! lol ......I had a great weekend with my family and I got to share my love of facepainting with them!

The Spiderman is my brother, the Joker (my sister said he looks more like a crazy clown because of his Afro!lol) is my other brother, the skull is my hubby and the red yellow green mask - this was my brother-in-laws request - a reggae face with tongan flags in the different colours - wierd but he liked it......the reggae butterfly is my sister and the tiger is my mum!

Thank you! I do feel blessed and it was great fun! The boys had a fun getting people to do double takes!

Awesome pics! So loving the "rasta" colors or as they say where I'm from "ice, gold, and green"! What does the ice have to do with red you ask? I have no idea.
