LOL!

I only do the gem clusters myself because I can't afford the cost of buying them. Don't have a Michael's near me Sad And it's turned into a nice little hobby... I have a lap board that I use and I pull it out at night when I'm watching ... er.....listening to the tv LOL
I've also set up a system with a binder and everything to store them in.

I'm SO glad I re-started this question! I've learned SO much more from these posts...my big problem? NOT GIVING ENOUGH TIME TO DRY!!! (impatient!) With a thick blob to start the final layer is the right thickness...with a thiner layer of glue, you'll never get it off the plastic...but if you do it on really thin plastic you could certainly just 'cut out' the pattern and glue on...but it would have to be very thin to make the cluster flexible! (wonder if plastic wrap would work for that?) Anyways...I had a bunch of loose gems...and thought I'd do some 'special' stuff with them...patterns I'd never find in a store! Thanks everyone!!!

I confused about the cement. Does it touch the skin? Is rubber cement ok to be touching the skin? Are these then glued on to the skin with safe skin glue - and does that glue react with the rubber cement.

Just new to using gems so I am trying to understand.
