First Gig!

Post by Airyfairy on Sat Jan 28, 2012 11:37 am

Today at 4:30! It's a birthday party for twins, turning 4. So nervous and excited! There will only be 6 kids so I think it will be perfect for my first gig. And tommorow I'm working at a local farmers market!! So this is opening weekend for Airy Fairy Face Paint!

On top of being nervous and excited I'm also really proud. This is the first time I have done something start to finish and put my all into a project. I was always afraid to fail before and now with my hardwork I have really started a buisness. Very Happy

It went great!!!! I'm stilll totally in the rush!!!
I was shaking really bad when I started so the kids didn't turn out the best (they loved it though) but all the adults came out really well. I even painted a grandmother who had never been facepainted before! I'm so happy and feel really confident in my choice to be a facepainter.

Does anyone have any tips on making conversation with peoole, I know I need to work on that.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes <3

well done, getting your first job done, sometime kids can be impatient so if i see want they a wearing i ask them if that is their favourite cartoon, or i ask them want they like, team they follow so that they can relax and when you have finish they a still chatting away and smiley they forget they just been getting their faces painted and when you show them what you have painted on their faces just light up that best part of face painting the kids leaving feeling happy and smile flower
