Dr Seuss Characters

Post by Cherry on Tue Jan 31, 2012 9:23 pm

Hiya,
I will be painting at a Dr Seuss themed party and I was wondering if anyone would care to share any pics that they may have? Or recommend the most popular Dr Seuss characters because there are so many of them....

What springs to mind is:

Cat in the hat
Grinch
Lorax
Horton the elephant

and once i learn to paint these faces, they will all probably want rainbow butterflies Smile

I did one not to long ago and the mother wanted cheek art. and I found one online of a brow thing that I wanted to try. I also did a lorax mustache but did not get a pic but my trufala tree was a big hit.

This one is not mine!

Thanks for posting pics Jolene. I'm thinking i'll do a combination of cheek art and a couple of full face options. This is such a neat theme to paint Smile

Here's my first attempt at cat in the hat cheek art

I must say I loathe doing cartoon eyes. Must practice doing them more.
