Valentine Boy Designs

Post by Susy826 on Fri Feb 03, 2012 6:40 pm

Hello Everyone!

I'll be volunteering at my daughter's valentine party at her school and the teacher asked if I would paint some faces. Does anyone have any images of Boy Valentine designs? Haven't done any in the past and need some ideas. Please help, THANX Very Happy I love you

I think the best thing to do it take regular boy designs and add a heart or make them red. Scorpion with a heart in it's claws, spider with heart instead of an hourglass, pirate with heart swirls on the bandana, dragon mask in red or purple...etc. You could have a heart with tribals attached or devil horns and tail. I think you'll be surprised how many girls will go for those types of designs too. Mostly, they'll want designs they've seen at the fair anyway so you can just adapt them.

No matter what the theme kids want the basic popular designs. I was going to post basicly what Denise says - I 'd do a standard creature design and add in a heart.

There are so many times I work on a design just for a party and the kids never ask for it. The kids want what they want. The Tangled party wants Hello Kitty or the Smurf party wants a shark. LOL

I was going to say spiderman, batman, skull, shark, mario, angry birds, green lantern, power rangers, Clayton's cheetah scull (check it out on his You tube chanel-every time I put this on my board, it goes like crazy for the boys...THANK you Clayton!) That is what works for me....if I come up with something for a party, the kids don't pick it, usually. The girls my pick a heart mask for valentines day...but the boys, I bet, will pick the same old same old...

This young man asked for a valentine design, but not a girly one, I asked what his favorite color was, he said red, but his face kinda dropped, like he could just see nothing but red hearts all over. So I just used red in the smallest amount I could. I saw this Steampunk design on Fabatv, and this is my take on it.[img][/img]He was very proud of it, and couldn't wait to show his friends and family.
