Japanese Tattoo Series! Octopus! The pro shots came!

Thanks guys! Hopefully no one is bored with Aj yet! LOL He is still my fav male model as I've yet to find anyone else that sits so well and enjoys it!!

@helena - Thank you and it's not so much of an expression, as it is my 'take' on traditonal Japanese tattoo themes with a more modern 'Tattoo' style. right now in the tattoo industry there are always several 'hot' fashion things going on. The last couple of years, the 'hot topics' are sugar skulls/day of the dead and Asian influenced pieces (both East and South Asian). The weight is all about shading which I am still learning and am hoping to 'bump up a notch' when I teach in Las Vegas in march as Dutch B. will be there and I'm telling ya...front row in all HIS classes will be me!! I cannot count how many painters inspire me, but he is in my top 5 to be sure!!!

Super amazing! I definitely feel the depth of the piece. The shading is really spectacular. Can't wait to see how you "bump it up"! Dutch is awesome, so I know you will inspire us all.
One day, when I grow up, I'll study under the masters, too.

LOL He *IS* Flynn! And he is that funny too just like the 'toon! If I ever get to the point where I can be 'big' enough to bring my own model, I'll have to bring him along!! I think that will be unlikely ever, BUT sure would be fun!

OH-MY-GOD! I could spend hours staring at Dutch's designs. Amazing wrinkles and veins.! And his shadings!!! I wish I could be at Las Vegas ... Anyway, enjoy your classes and PLEASE, share here all what you learn (Looking forward what will come out from your talent and his teachings)
As for AJ-Flynn, love the pics: it's not just the gesture/face but the hair (that lock falling over the forehead), eyebrows, mouth,... LOL!

I cant say I have tired of him yet but am mildly disturbed when I recognized it was him on the first time you had shown us the octopus even though his head was cut off

@Pilareta - He is REALLY the living Flynn! I told him and the photographer that then went online and found the picture! The 'smoulder' Aj did was a 'joke' shot but he coud have been the model for the cartoon!!

@Jolene - Glad to hear it! Especially since I don't yet have a 'second'!! And I think at this point it's almost a sure bet that if you see a half naked young man in my photos, it's gonna be him so I wouldn't be disturbed! Sure it's just that your brain puts one and one together. Either that or I'll get you a signed autograph!! LOL Seriously tho... you will see more of him again on the 27th, he'll be getting a full back samauri! (sp)
