What is something wizardy?

I have been asked to fp something wizardy for a local library children's play.
They only want some kind of simple cheek art. I can think of STARS with action marks but what other ideas do folks have, pics anyone?
They want children faces to be the main attraction....some of the kids are in the chorus or are musical instruments so I was considering doing a musical staff or note.
Would love ideas!

When I think of wizards I think of celestial moons and stars. Blue wizard hats. Crystal balls. Merlin and the knights of the round table. LOL Don't laugh too hard at this one, but Jack and Annie from the Magic Tree house books, (currently being read to me by my son) Magical scrolls, flying carpets, cauldrons, frogs with wizards hats, star wands and spell books.
Does that help at all?

I had a couple of kids at a party once that asked me to make them look like an old wizard... I painted a gray beard and moustache and some little spectacles off the end of their nose like you see on some Santa face paintings.
