busy time! (update with pics!)

Yesterday we celebrated carnaval at school.
All teachers were dressed up with flowers and bees " garden theme" because we have the Floriade this year nearby.
I painted with two others, we had lots of fun!
Made the costumes all by ourself at school, some teacher had children help them!



Then asked my husband to take a picture of my facepaint (painted myself) and guess what? Nice picture, but can't see my facepaint!
What is it with men???!!!



Anyway. Made the bee from Pick your nose, a beehive with splitcake (gold, yellow, brown, made a nice 3-D effect!) and added some flowers and bling. Looked really nice!

It's metallic gold from partyXplosion. On top some liquid bling gold.
I know partyXplosion is sold in the US under a different brand name! But forgot which one. Is it DFX?!

I'm originally from Trinidad & Tobago and carnival is BIG there. I realy miss home at this time of year.

I love dressing up and FP (duh!).
I don't drink alcohol, that's sometimes a problem, because it seems like everybody else does. So I like going to watch the parades and then go home while everybody else starts drinking at that time.
Made another one, she's my BF!

How much fun was that!!!!!! Great job on the painting, too!

First one was for fun! He wanted to be an Egyptian, but wanted it to look really " painted". So no nice blending and so on.
He had a lot of fun!

She wanted an eye mask again, which she choose from the book Illusions and friends 2.

Wow, it looks like you had so much fun! We celebrate Carnaval in Spain, too and I LOVE IT!!!!!
